14 DAY TRIAL // Time Warner Cable has released a new version of its iOS app which lets TWC subscribers watch their favorite shows on-demand, as well as live TV, with the ability to control their set with an iPhone or iPad.
TWC TV 3.0.1 is out on the App Store with a “Featured” on-demand category for new TV shows, new movies and other content that people consider popular.
The developers have made a few alterations to the way TV shows, movies and kids on-demand categories are listed. All content is displayed alphabetically now.
The new version also delivers a range of bug fixes and performance enhancements, according to Time Warner Cable.
The developers are seemingly still struggling to squash a bug causing TWC TV to fail to launch after the logo screen has been displayed. The company advises customers to restart their cable modem by disconnecting the power from the modem for 30 seconds.
“We are working to resolve this issue and apologize for any inconvenience,” says TWC.
