Mark Russinovich's popular set of Windows applications known as Sysinternals Suite has received an update earlier this week, offering some enhancements for those who use them.

The new flavor of the Suite, available for download as version 1.0 Build 31.01.2013, brings along an update for the Autoruns for Windows tool.

The utility has reached version 11.42 in the latest Suite update, and was meant to resolve an issue that has been found in the previous 11.41 version, related to the parsing of network file paths.

For those out of the loop, we should note that the tool was designed to offer info on the apps that are configured to run during system bootup or login.

Sysinternals Suite is available for download from this page. You can also find the Autoruns utility on this page on Softpedia, or via this link, if you are looking for the portable version.
