The new application release comes with various enhancements and fixes inside

An updated iteration of the SuperTube application is now available for download for the owners of BlackBerry 10 devices out there, namely version 2.4.2.3.

The new application release has already been pushed to the BlackBerry World with a nice range of enhancements packed inside, such as the option to search for channels and playlists.

According to the release notes available courtesy of CrackBerry, the new application iteration also arrives on shelves with a new sort order for playlists in the Sort and Filter dropdown menu.

The video player in the application now features kid lock functionality, and there is also a rearrangement of subscription list available in the new app flavor, it seems.

Moreover, the updated app version comes to devices with a fix for an issue that resulted in the repeat function not working when auto play next video option was turned off.

At the same time, users will no longer experience a video pause when watching video info in media player, the changelog unveils.

Following the update, users will see that a new search will be automatically performed when they change a sort or filter parameter. Additionally, they will observe that the video player will jump to the next clip when it fails to play a video in the current list.

The local watch history has been rearranged in the new release, now displaying the most recent first, and there is also a left menu entry for new videos in subscriptions.

The new version of SuperTube for BlackBerry 10 also arrives on devices with various bug fixes packed inside, though no specific info on them has been provided as of now.

For those out of the loop, we should note that SuperTube has been released on BlackBerry devices as a third-party, fully-featured YouTube client, and that it is capable of providing users with a great experience when accessing the service from their smartphones.

It allows users to search for videos, to pre-load clips, to easily share links with their friends, and to switch between different video quality settings even during playback.
