Spotify is now available for download via the Windows Phone Marketplace, after being officially announced several hours ago.

Windows Phone 7.5 Mango users who would like to give it a try will find it available in the web Marketplace here. The app is available for download via Zune from here.

In addition to offering access to millions of tracks, the app also provides users with the ability to stream music over WiFi or 2.5/3G, enjoy playlists while offline, and even explore and play the playlists that friends have created.

The app will sync music with the computer at home, and will also offer access to What's New view, as well as to music that friends sent over.

The Spotify app is available for free, but the music service requires a monthly subscription ($9.99 / 7 Euros). The Spotify music service is available in Denmark, Finland, France, the Netherlands, Norwey, Spain, Sweden, the UK and the United States.
