14 DAY TRIAL // Splashtop Inc. has had a change of heart regarding the dubbing of its remote computing tool for iOS customers, and decided to change the name in the latest version released in the App Store.
Version 2.4.0.3 renames the app from Splashtop 2 to Splashtop Personal, with a note on behalf of the developers that states, “this app also works for subscribers of Splashtop Business.”
The update further includes improved accuracy of gesture detection, as well as a number of bug fixes to make the software more stable and reliable.
The iPhone version is still priced at just $0.99/€0.89, while the tablet version sells for $4.99/€4.49.

For commercial use in a professional environment, users are required to subscribe to Anywhere Access Pack. Alternately, they can use Splashtop Business, a suite that is specifically designed for the workplace.
