The handy Speedtest.net app for iOS devices is now fully supported on the iPhone 5, according to Ookla, the makers of the network testing app.

Speedtest.net Mobile 3.0 boasts a completely new interface with full iPhone 5 support, according to Ookla. Users will now get an option to permanently remove advertisements (that is, to pay for their removal), and there’s a new way to share results much easier.

The update further improves server selection and saving, adds sortable results, and offers the ability to see your testing location in results detail. The 3.0 release is English only, according to Ookla. Speakers of other languages are promised to receive translations in the next update.

Speedtest.net is compatible with iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4, iPhone 4S, iPhone 5, iPod touch (3rd generation), iPod touch (4th generation), iPod touch (5th generation) and iPad. It requires iOS 4.3 or later.
