Digital Tribe has released Spec Ops: The Line for Mac gamers. Available for €19.99/$24.99 on Steam (and soon on the Mac App Store), it promises third-person action and close combat like no other game to date.

The first thing you need to know about this game is that it’s rated M (17+), which means your mother probably doesn’t approve of it.

According to the game’s description, you lead a team of three baddies, each with their own distinct personality and skills, on dangerous missions in the desert environment of Dubai.

“The vertical interiors of Dubai high rise buildings also provide tactical advantages and risks that can be used by players. Multiplayer campaigns bring new modes and unusual situations and environments to expand the single player experience,” according to Digital Tribe.

To play the game, OS X 10.7.5 Lion is required, along with 4GB of RAM and a dual-core processor. Video card recommendations can be found on the game’s official page at Digital Tribe.

Here’s where you can download Spec Ops: The Line when Valve decides to list the Mac version as well.
