Artificial Life and Starz Digital Media present "Spartacus: Blood and Sand" for Apple portables

Artificial Life and Starz Digital Media are proud to announce that Apple has approved their latest game for the iPhone and iPod touch, Spartacus: Blood and Sand. The title takes players into the world of gladiators where blood and brutality bring honor. Spartacus: Blood and Sand is based on the new, original series produced by Starz Media.

According to Artificial Life, players are tasked with fighting for the freedom of the Thracian hero – Spartacus, while characters, weapons and locations have been realistically inspired by the items and events from the original TV series. Story, Quick Fight, Challenge, and Head-to-Head are the four game modes sure to make the delight of any type of player, Digital Media and Artificial Life believe, along with special scenes produced by Starz Media that are featured in the game. As you would expect, the duo also lists the key features typical to Spartacus: Blood and Sand for iPhone. Those include:

- Intense fights against combatants armed with various weapons and fighting styles; - Realistic 3D characters, settings, and weapons based on the TV series; - Numerous attack and defense combos; - A variety of customizable fight conditions including: characters, locations, levels of difficulty, time settings, and more; - Unlockable characters; - Official trailer and cut scenes of the show available in-game; - Head-to-Head multiplayer battles via Wi-Fi or Bluetooth; - Connection to Facebook and Twitter to share updates and to compete with friends.
