14 DAY TRIAL // SoundHound Inc. has released an iOS 7-inspired update for users of its iPhone application, adding a new look and feel as well as a number of new features.
SoundHound 5.5 is flatter and more in line with the minimalistic iOS 7, thanks to an app-wide UI overhaul. A new feature called My Music Map lets you visualize music moments by location.
Users can now register for a SoundHound account right from within the app. “Sync & Save your search history across devices, as backup, and to activate your My Music Map,” says SoundHound Inc.
The update also brings speed improvements and bug Fixes. SoundHound is fully compatible with iOS 7 but only calls for iOS 5.1 to run, according to the system requirements. Most iDevices are supported, as long as they have an “internal or external microphones.”
