Sony has just launched firmware version 2.06 for their PS Vita console. The new update claims to improve stability for some features.

This update has been previously announced on the PlayStation Twitter page with the same vague changelog.

As users say, the Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 Plus gets a considerable boost in graphics smoothness unlike New Little Kings Story which still has some framerate issues.

Another issue attended by the 2.06, as reported by users who installed it, is the javascript spoofing exploit in the browser.

The installation procedure is done via the Content Manager Assistant application (for PC or Mac) by connecting your PS Vita device through the USB cable that comes in the original package.

Once you've done that, navigate through the PSV menu and under the “System Update” tab, select “Update by Connecting to a PC.”

By doing so, the latest update will be downloaded and the setup steps will show on screen. Follow those instructions and complete the installation procedure.

Below is the download link. Click, pick, download, install and stay “updated one minute ago.”
