Today, Slacker Radio has made available for download a mobile client for devices running under the new BlackBerry 10 operating system, providing users with a brand new interface when compared to the previous app releases for the BlackBerry platform.

With a simpler, much cleaner design, the new app iteration brings modern looks to the Canadian mobile phone maker’s mobile OS.

Although it offers a cleaner, more appealing experience, the app still requires users to have it open on the screen to control their music, it seems.

Users interested in taking advantage of Slacker Radio will need to pay $3.99 each month for access. They can also enjoy on-demand playback for $9.99.

The service puts over 13 million songs at users’ disposal, along with customization tools, and constant updates for Slacker’s more than 200 genre and specialty stations. Slacker Radio for BlackBerry 10 can be found in the BlackBerry World.
