An updated flavor of the Skype app is now available for download for the owners of Windows Phone handsets out there, namely version 2.15.0.154.

According to the application’s release notes, users who upgrade to the new iteration will enjoy a series of general fixes and improvements, but no specific info on what was changed inside the software has been provided as of now.

The Skype Windows Phone mobile client provides users with the possibility to connect with their friends over Microsoft’s popular messaging service, while also allowing them to engage into voice and video calls right from their smartphones.

The application and service can be used for free, both over Wi-Fi and data networks. However, when connected over the latter, data charges might incur.
