Feral Interactive has rolled out a demo for Sid Meier’s Railroads!, a spin-off of the classic Railroad Tycoon game. The game is developed by Firaxis Games and published by 2K Games on Windows. Feral is now the publishing label for the Mac port.

Sid Meier’s Railroads! arrives on the Mac under the Feral Legends label, challenging players to turn empty lands into thriving civilizations by laying track and routing trains between mines and factories, farms, and eventually towns.

The minimum system requirements to play the demo are Mac OS X 10.6.8 (Snow Leopard), a 1.8GHz Intel processor, 3GB of RAM, and a 128 MB (or better) graphics card. Feral says the game can’t handle graphics cards from the ATI X1xxx series, NVIDIA 7xxx series and Intel GMA series.

The full version of Sid Meier’s Railroads! for Mac sells for US $29.99 in North America, £19.99 in the UK, and €24.99 in the EU.
