Music discovery company Shazam Entertainment Ltd. has been listening to the feedback from its iOS install base and determined that some fixes were in order. Those fixes have arrived in Shazam 5.5.2 for iPhone and iPod touch.

The popular Shazam app that lets you identify songs by just putting your iPhone next to a speaker has received a minor update that should make a world of difference for power users.

Version 5.5.2 fixes tag lists for users who messed up their order in the last update. According to the developers, tags will re-sort when My Tags is opened. Another change is “Notifications of Friends’ tagging now opens the app on their track so you can preview and learn more.”

Compatible with iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad, Shazam now requires iOS 6 if you want to use the full feature set. The app is also optimized for iPhone 5 and the fifth-generation iPod touch.
