14 DAY TRIAL // STALKER: Call of Pripyat has just received its Complete Mod, which overhauls the sequel to the original STALKER completely, fixing lots of issues and adding a whole lot of features to the game.
The first STALKER: Shadow of Chernobyl title, as well as its follow-ups, Call of Pripyat and Clear Sky, went on to gain a massive cult following, largely because of its intense atmosphere, unique story and interesting characters, despite an array of bugs and other problems.
Luckily, for existing owners, the mod community came to the rescue, with players working together to release complete overhauls to all of the releases.
Now, a group of modders have finally launched a Complete Mod for STALKER: Call of Pripyat, the latest release in the STALKER series, which practically improves the whole game with a wide array of new features, bug fixes and additions.
"Call of Pripyat Complete is the third entry in the Complete mod series, which is a set of modifications created by professional artists dedicated to enhancing the production quality of the S.T.A.L.K.E.R. game series. The Complete mods emphasize on improving the original graphics, sound, and atmosphere of each game while preserving the core game elements," revealed the mod team on its website.
A lot of new things are added by the complete mod to Call of Pripyat, from overhauled graphics, designed to take advantage of new hardware, to changed weather effects, better textures and effects, smarter companions and AI, as well as plenty of fixes for bugs encountered by players.
What's more, the mod team decided to have a little fun by allowing you to decide upon installing the mod if you want the other characters in the game's world to either become irradiated and die or transform into zombies, after a major event during its story.
