The new application release adds new filters, tons of fixes and enhancements

An updated flavor of the ProShot application is now available for download for Windows Phone 8 users out there, namely version 3.0.0.0.

The new application release arrives on handsets with various new features and performance improvements, including new filters and a Real Time Filter Editor.

This Windows Phone 8 Lens application has been designed to enable users to take full advantage of the camera capabilities of their smartphones.

It comes with Auto, Program, Manual, and two Custom modes, as well as with the option to manually adjust Shutter Speed, ISO, White Balance, Exposure Compensation, Focus, and more.

The new flavor of the mobile application brings along the first Real Time Filter Editor in the world, the team behind the app notes.

Available as an optional purchase, it offers realistic vignette simulation, direct RGB control, auto-awesome, and various other features.

At the same time, the updated software offers Real Time HD Filters at 30FPS (included with filter editor), a new free filter: Vintage, a new image processing pipeline, and new Shadow Recovery feature.

Additionally, the update comes with the ability to save and export original images and packs a new shortcut pointer, allowing for faster access to settings.

Other enhancements in the new release include an improved startup time, a revamped tutorial, and on-screen contrast / saturation / filter indicators.

Moreover, the new app flavor comes with support for the Nokia Lumia 1020 smartphone, while also delivering various UI tweaks to all users and German localization.

Bug fixes were also included in the new flavor of the software, like one for the burst mode, and a series of touch bugs. Additionally, the update resolves issues with focus on HTC devices, and the auto-resolution bug.
