14 DAY TRIAL // Apple has released ProApps QuickTime Codecs 1.0.3, an update which adds new video codecs to applications based on the QuickTime player’s framework.
According to a support document on Apple’s web site, ProApps QuickTime Codecs 1.0.3 is an update which adds the following video codecs for use by QuickTime-based applications: Apple Intermediate Codec; Apple ProRes; AVC-Intra; DVCPRO HD; HDV XDCAM HD / EX / HD422; MPEG IMX; Uncompressed 4:2:2; and XAVC.
If you’re a creative working with Final Cut Pro X, Motion 5 or Compressor 4, ProApps QuickTime Codecs v1.0.3 is a must-have update, according to Apple.
Weighing in at 2.09 MB, the update requires OS X 10.5.6 (Leopard) or later and QuickTime 7.6 or later. Download links are available below.
