Plex Inc. is back with a new batch of improvements for users of the company’s media streaming application for iPhone and iPad.

Before listing a truckload of fixes in this release, the team at Plex Inc. is eager to thank the forum members who helped them track down some of the nastier bugs.

Those include: a bug that caused the app to crash on launch or when signing in to myPlex, and a crash while removing or modifying sync items.

Browsing is more reliable, “especially when scrolling rapidly in large library sections,” according to the developers, and multi-part playback works properly now.

Special characters are now included when browsing, and the “Clear Cached Data” action now works as intended. The update further adds protection against invalid cache data, and “a few minor cosmetic issues have been addressed [as well].”
