Pandora Media Inc. has released a minor update for users of its iOS client application, Pandora Radio. iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad users experiencing issues with the app are encouraged to download the new version.

Pandora Radio is a free, personalized radio app that only plays the music you want. It lets you pick your favorite artists (including classical composers) and songs, and it creates a custom “station” that plays music tailored to your taste.

Apple is said to be interested in buying the company, as the Cupertino giant reportedly plans to dip a toe into the radio business. Nothing confirmed so far, though.

But for users who currently rely on the official Pandora Radio app on their iPhones and iPads, a new version is available to download.

Pandora Radio 4.2 reduces the startup time required to launch the app’s functions, and delivers some unnamed bug fixes and enhancements. If your app has been acting up, try to update it and see if the bugs have been resolved.
