Facebook functionality added while the overall AI has been improved

Just as Konami deployed its new PES 2012 soccer simulator in North America and already a patch has been released to enable certain features, like the integration of Facebook support, as well as improve other areas, like the AI.

PES 2012 has a rather peculiar release schedule, as Konami launched the game in North America earlier this week, but will bring it to Europe on October 14, presumably to make sure that the game lives up to the expectations of legions of football (soccer) fans in the Old Continent.

Still, the Japanese company cares about its North American PES fans, and has just released a pretty small update, taking it to version 1.01, addressing two major issues: enabling the Facebook functionality, which was detailed yesterday alongside the rest of PES 2012's online features, and improving the Artificial Intelligence of opponents and teammates.
