An updated flavor of the PDF Reader application is now available for download for the owners of Windows Phone devices out there, namely version 1.3.0.0.

The new app iteration does not come to handsets with major enhancements packed inside, but the available release notes do mention that it has been through some OneDrive rebranding changes.

For those out of the loop, we should note that OneDrive is the new name that Microsoft’s SkyDrive cloud storage service has received after the company lost a legal dispute several months ago.

The company’s PDF Reader for Windows Phone retains the functionality that it had to offer before, including the possibility to view and interact with PDF documents on a Windows Phone device.

In addition to enabling users to open PDF files while on the go, the app also allows them to bookmark pages and easily jump to these bookmarks from anywhere within a document.

Moreover, it comes with zoom capabilities, for a better viewing experience, continuous scrolling, and the option to resume viewing a document from where you left off.

You can download PDF Reader 1.3.0.0 for Windows Phone from Softpedia today. The mobile application was released for Windows Phone 8 devices but should work just fine on handsets running under the newer Windows Phone 8.1 operating system as well.
