The application offers Android users some of the features included in the desktop version, including Speed Dial, Smart Page and tabbed browsing.

According to developers, Opera Mini for Android reduces data costs by up to 90% thanks to the company’s compression technology.

Today, Opera Software released a small update for its Android browser, which promises to enhance users’ overall experience.

The update has been confirmed to include a variety of bug fixes, as well as stability and performance improvements. Even though there are no new features added, we recommend Opera Mini users to update to the latest version.

Opera Mini 7.5.1 is now available as a free download via Google Play store and it should be fully compatible all devices running Android 1.5 and up. Check it out here.
