Opera software has released a refreshed Opera Mini browser with support for the latest Apple gear. The updated application also includes the usual bag of fixes, which should make it more reliable.
Arguably the most popular third-party web browser for mobiles, Opera Mini 7 has been updated to take advantage of the enhancements in the latest iPhone and iPod touch.
Boasting four-inch screens, both these devices can display more content than ever, especially in landscape view (great for watching videos, or reading feature-length articles on the web).
In addition to this compatibility enhancement, Opera Mini 7.0.4 also includes some stability fixes, according to its Norwegian creators. And it does appear to work smoother with more tabs open, our tests indicate.
Opera Mini is compatible with all iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad models that can handle iOS 4.3 or later.
