Another day, another Opera 11.50 build, as the team is putting the final touches on the upcoming release, codenamed Swordfish, it's been churning out testing builds like there's no tomorrow. The latest, Opera 11.50 RC3 comes with several fixes for some of the issues that are keeping the team from releasing a final build.

"This is the third Swordfish (11.50) release candidate," Opera wrote. "The list of fixes is fairly short, but it is important to have them tested properly. We primarily need your feedback on these fixes, and any major regressions or other potential release blockers," it explained.

Fixes in Opera 11.50 RC3:

· Featherweight skin fixes; · Fixes UI freezes related to panels and certain skins; · Fixes a crash when loading an iframe in an extension; · "Delete private data" removed Wand passwords; · viewmode:minimized Speed Dials would sometimes reload twice when opening new tab; · Only send changed Speed Dials through Opera Link, not all of them every time; · Fix for dragging buttons from the Appearance dialog into toolbars on Mac; · Translation fixes.

The surge of releases started a couple of days ago, when Opera announced Featherweight, a project aimed at revamping the user interface and experience. The first results of the project, new icons and a slicker UI have already been introduced in the Opera 11.50 testing builds.

Opera 11.50 Swordfish has more to offer though, it introduces passwords sync and also the Opera Next channel, which can be used by early adopters and developers to test the latest Opera builds without interfering with their regular Opera installs.
