An updated flavor of the OneDrive application is now available for download for the owners of Windows Phone devices out there, in the form of version 4.2.1.0.

The new application iteration comes to devices with some appealing enhancements, including the possibility to download files to your phone and choose where to save them.

Additionally, the update provides users with a new progress page for uploading and downloading files, while also offering a series of improvements to picking contacts when sharing files.

On top of that, OneDrive for Windows Phone has been updated with a variety of bug fixes and performance improvements, the available release notes reveal.

The same as before, the mobile app provides users with the possibility to easily browse OneDrive files and files shared with them, while also enabling them to move, delete, and rename files, and create new folders.

They can also upload multiple photos, videos and files at once, share content with other people, pin folders to the Start Screen, easily access documents recently opened, and perform various other actions as well.

The OneDrive mobile client is available for all devices running under Windows Phone 7.x and Windows Phone 8.x platform iterations. It is available for free in the Windows Phone Store.
