It opts in to automatic graphics switching, fixes file handling errors

The Omni Group’s pro-level personal task management tool, OmniFocus, is now better supported under OS X Mavericks thanks to some under-the-hood tweaks.

OmniFocus 1.10.6 is said to be a “minor” update that fixes just a handful of compatibility issues with the latest software from Apple. However, when you pay quite a few notes for a pro-level task manager, excellence is the absolute minimum you’ll accept.

Case in point, the new version “significantly” reduces the likelihood that it will appear in the list of applications that use up lots of power, by opting in to automatic graphics switching.

The updated OmniFocus further addresses errors that state, “could not be handled because OmniFocus cannot open files in the ‘Document’ format.” This applies both to OS X 10.8 (Mountain Lion) and OS X 10.9 (Mavericks).

Download OmniFocus from Softpedia, either as a free trial or the full client (depending on whether or not you have a license) and see how this update fares for you.
