Deemed the most intuitive and straightforward office document editor available on the iPad, Office² HD has been promoted to version 5.1 this week, adding support for several new document types, SkyDrive integration, and additional cloud support from Egnyte, and Soonr, to name the key additions.
Developer Byte² is happy to inform customers that Office² HD has gained XLSX and PPTX support. The suite now does track text changes in documents, and supports comments in documents. It integrates with Microsoft SkyDrive and the servers owned by Egnyte and Soonr, for added cloud support.
Bug fixes aren’t missing from this release either. The software should now open XLS files that have protected structure, and it should also exhibit better support for conversion between DOC & DOCX. Curved & bent connectors now persist in DOC too.
