Download Office Accounting Express 2009

Microsoft is addressing home office–based small businesses with Office Accounting Express 2009, applauding the software as the ideal accounting solution for this customer segment. Office Accounting Express 2009 is available as a free download, and was initially launched at the end of 2008. However, the Microsoft Download Center features the bits under a new published date, namely March 12, 2009. The download weighs as little as 161.4 MB and as much as 343.9 MB, depending on the flavors of the product that users will want to grab.

“Microsoft Office Accounting Express 2009 is the ideal accounting solution for new or existing home office–based small businesses. Office Accounting Express 2009 helps small business owners and bookkeepers save time on everyday tasks, work the way they want, and grow their business through online sales, online invoicing, and payment processes. Office Accounting Express 2009 comes with the familiar look and feel of the Microsoft Office system. For more advanced accounting features, you can upgrade to Office Accounting Professional 2009,” Microsoft revealed.

At this point in time there are two versions of Office Accounting Express 2009 available for download. Users are free to grab either the United States (English) variant, namely MOA2009USExp.exe, or the version tailored to United Kingdom (English) clients, MOA2009GBExp.exe. Microsoft failed to indicate any plans to offer Office Accounting Express 2009 for any additional markets around the world. “Office Accounting Express is designed for US and UK based small businesses only and does not support local requirements outside of these two countries,” the software giant added.

The Redmond company is enabling existing users of Office Accounting Express 2009 to upgrade free of charge to the latest edition. Customers running Office Accounting Express 2007 and Office Accounting Express 2008 can easily make the jump to the 2009 release of the accounting solution and keep all their current data and settings in place.
