Alongside the new Mavericks DP5 release, Apple has rolled out OS X 10.8.5 Mountain Lion build 12F33, a new beta for developers testing their software against the current version of the Mac OS.

OS X 10.8.5 build 12F33 is a pre-release update to OS X Mountain Lion, which includes Delta and Combo Update installers, weighing in at 291MB and 852MB, respectively.

As usual, developers are asked to refer to the seed note for more details and complete installation instructions for the new beta.

The seed note says there are no known issues with build 12F33, while the focus areas remain unchanged from previous betas: Wi-Fi, Graphics, Wake from Sleep, PDF viewing and Accessibility, and Mobile Device Management.

OS X Mountain Lion 10.8.5 Build 12F33 is available immediately from the Mac Dev Center, or via Software Update in the Mac App Store for developers with previous beta builds installed.
