A new beta of OS X Mavericks is available to registered Apple developers with a considerably smaller set of changes than previous beta, in what is only natural for a near-final OS.

Listing the same compatible computers, the changelog for OS X Mavericks Developer Preview 7 includes fewer “notes and known issues,” as Apple prepares the final release of the software.

Still in pre-release state, this version of OS X Mavericks can be obtained by downloading Developer Preview 4 from the Mac App Store using a redeem code (via the Mac Dev Center), then using Software Update to install OS X v10.9 Developer Preview 7.

For those who already have a Developer Preview installed (DP4 or newer), simply using Software Update is all it takes.

Labeled as Build 13A569, OS X Mavericks Developer Preview 7 is likely to be the last beta before Apple seeds the Golden Master (GM) build.
