Nvidia has announced yesterday, June 15th, the immediate availability for download of the 302.17 version of its graphics driver for Linux, Solaris and FreeBSD operating systems.

Nvidia 302.17 video driver brings lots of changes, new features and many improvements over previous versions, which greatly improves the overall performance of the driver for Linux systems.

Did Nvidia really "proudly" announce 302.17? Because there are a heck of a lot of regressions and bugs Nvidia's customers are still waiting for...

Okay, I've read the official changelog. What change(s) are you referring to that "radically improves overall performance"?

Good for Nvidia. I've been using their cards and drivers for many years - always very fast and very stable. Nothing compares to Nvidia's cards and drivers.
