Nvidia has released version 302.11 Beta of its graphics driver for Linux, for 32-bit and 64-bit architectures

Nvidia 302.11 Beta brings support for a few new video cards, such as GeForce GTX 670, GeForce 605, GeForce GT 610, GeForce GT 630, GeForce GT 640, and GeForce GT 645.

This Beta driver from Nvidia also comes with a few fixes, for a bug affecting some G-Sync configurations, a bug that prevented a workaround for the invalid EDID in certain AUO laptop flat panels, and a bug that caused the link configuration of DisplayPort devices to be reported incorrectly.

Nvidia 302.11 Beta video driver also adds support for calculating the physical size and DPI of each RandR 1.2 Output using the EDID Detailed Timing Description. Download Nvidia 302.11 Beta right now from Softpedia. Remember that this is a beta release and it should NOT be installed on production machines. It is intended to be used for testing purposes only.
