Skyrim patch 1.9 is now available for download on the Xbox 360 platform via Xbox Live and is scheduled to appear for the PlayStation 3 in the very near future, after having already been released on the PC last month.

The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim came out more than a year ago, but developer Bethesda is continuing to support it with new DLC, like the recent Dragonborn one, as well as with patches.

The latest update takes the game to version 1.9 and brings plenty of new things including a Legendary difficulty setting as well as an effective removal of the level cap by allowing skills to be turned into legendary attributes.

Besides these two big additions, plenty of bug fixes are included in the new update.

The patch is now available for download for the Xbox 360 via Xbox Live, according to the Elder Scrolls Twitter.

Update 1.9 already appeared on the PC last month and is expected to hit the PS3 in the near future.
