The newly released firmware update improves system stability during use of some features

After only a few days since the Sony PS Vita Firmware 3.10 went live, the producer has just made available the links for the new update that was announced on its official Twitter account, namely firmware version 3.12.

As Sony highlighted, this fresh release only improves the portable console’s overall system stability during the use of some features.

However, since the previous version was outed recently and due to user reports stating that their PlayStation Vita consoles with 32GB memory cards either shut down unexpectedly or entered a reboot loop after installing firmware 3.10, Sony most likely rushed into solving this issue specifically.

When it comes to the installation method, simply copy the firmware file onto the compatible memory card, insert it into the portable console, and the PS Vita will afterwards guide you through a successful installation.

In addition to that, you can also apply the new release through the console’s wireless feature (or connecting it to a PS3 system that has Internet access) and initiating the upgrade by going to Settings → Start → System Update → Update Using Wi-Fi (or Update by Connecting to a PS3 System).

That being said, download Sony PlayStation Vita Firmware 3.12, apply it to the console, and stay “updated one minute ago.”
