Sir Hammerlock's Big Game Hunt, the newest expansion for Borderlands 2, is now available for download on the PC and Xbox 360 and is set to appear on the PlayStation 3 later today, January 15.

UPDATE: The DLC is out now on the PC via Steam. Download it right here.

Borderlands 2 received a lot of add-ons since its release in September of last year, as developer Gearbox Software has released new characters, like the Mechromancer, as well as story-based expansions, like Captain Scarlett and Her Pirate's Booty or Mr. Torgue's Campaign of Carnage.

Now, the latest DLC – Sir Hammerlock's Big Game Hunt – has just been released on the Xbox 360, via Xbox Live.

PC owners will have to wait a few more hours until they can get the DLC via Steam.

Those who have the game on the PS3 in North America need to wait until later today, January 15, to get it via the PlayStation Store. European PS3 owners, however, need to wait until tomorrow, January 16, to get the add-on.

Sir Hammerlock's Big Game Hunt costs $10/€10 or 800 MS Points for regular players while those who got the Season Pass bundle get it for free.
