4J Studios, the developer of Minecraft's console editions, has confirmed that Xbox 360 owners can now download Minecraft title update 15, while PS3 users will soon be able to get patch 1.05 for the hugely popular game.

Minecraft is a true global phenomenon boasting ever increasing sales across all platforms, whether it's the native PC one, or consoles like Xbox 360, or even mobile devices, through the Minecraft Pocket Edition.

Now, after confirming that it's sold over 12 million copies on the Xbox 360, 4J Studios has revealed that a fresh patch is now available for download on Microsoft's consoles, in the form of title update 15.

Quite a lot of different tweaks, bug fixes, and enhancements are present in the new patch, as 4J wanted to address user complains after the release of title update 14 last month. These same changes are also a part of patch 1.05 for Minecraft PS3 edition.

Among the key issues fixed are the voice chat ones, as players encountered quite a few problems when trying to talk to one another, but also the blocks that reappeared after they were mined.

Random fall damage should no longer be an issue after this patch is installed and neither should the slow chunk loading speed. Maps should display correctly at the game's start screen, while audio problems while in splitscreen mode have been eliminated, and blocks are now showing damage in this mode.

The Enderdragon sound problems have been addressed, while zombies should now drop rare loot consisting of carrots, potatoes, or iron ingots.

Spawn problems relating to chickens, wolves, or mushrooms have been resolved, and the first item in the quick select bar will no longer be moved to the inventory when you open it.

You can check out some of the other changes in the new Minecraft console patch below, via MinecraftForum.

- Changed repairing tools in the Inventory to only allow tools that are not enchanted (since you’d lose the enchantment). - Fix for villager eggs in a dispenser not producing random professions. - Fix for Iron Golems not stopping their attack when they’ve killed a skeleton. - Fix for issue when players teleported while riding a pig or a minecart. - Fix for animals climbing Cobblestone walls. - Fix for attaching fences to cobblestone wall. - Fix for Invisibility potion not making sheep completely invisible. - Fix for Online ID being visible when using an invisibility potion. - Fix for tamed wolves with invisibility becoming visible when swimming in water. - Fix to let bonus chests spawn in pre-TU14 worlds. - Fix to issue causing stationary network players to oscillate between two slightly different positions. - Fix for unsynchronised audio. - Fix for a double exit sound from the crafting and anvil menus.

Minecraft for Xbox 360 Title Update 15 is now available for download via the Xbox Live online service. The PS3 patch 1.05 should appear on PSN in the near future.
