4J Studios, the developer of the console versions of hit indie game Minecraft, has just confirmed that title update 16 for the Xbox 360 edition of the game is now available for download and that it will debut as patch 1.06 for the PS3 edition next week.

Minecraft amazed tens of millions of PC owners several years ago when it was launched by Mojang as an early alpha open world crafting experience. Since then, it has become a cult classic, with fans all around the world and, thanks to 4J Studios, it has reached platforms like PS3 or Xbox 360, and it will soon debut on PS4, Xbox One, or PS Vita.

While the studio is working on the new adaptations, it's still busy implementing new fixes for the PS3 and Xbox 360 editions, and it has just completed a new round of improvements and solutions for various issues.

More specifically, according to the official forums, glitches that turned players invisible when they respawned after death and when they went through a nether gate at the same time with a buddy have been resolved.

Another issue, which caused them to go invisible after teleporting until they moved or a player who saw them go invisible moved, has also been fixed.

Noteblock pitch behavior is now better, especially when chords are played, and mobs should no longer die when smashing into walls, as this happened for baby mobs once they became adults.

Specific situations of chunks not loading in maps have been eliminated, while streaming music should continue to play even after a CD has been ejected from the jukebox.

Players can now attach signs to chests with a block placed above them, and they can finally breed wild ocelots or breed tame ones with a cat.

Tame wolves will no longer be removed from the game if no players are near them when they're angry, and the Potion of Night Vision is no longer going to corrupt the user interface if the player is falling into the void in the End zone.

Decals will no longer flicker or disappear when players are not close to each other in survival splitscreen mode, and lava drip particles are the correct color instead of dark or black.

Leather armor will display the enchantment glow and enchanted items will produce the correct effect when in hand.

All these changes and more are available for download right now for Minecraft on Xbox 360 as part of title update 16. They will appear on PS3 as patch 1.06 on May 28.
