Episode 6 for Halo 4's Spartan Ops mode has just been released, in the form of Scattered, and continues the events that have been portrayed up until now in the cooperative mode.

The Halo 4 experience consists of not only a top notch single-player campaign and a sprawling competitive multiplayer, but also of a cooperative mode named Spartan Ops, which has received new downloadable episodes since the game's release.

After a brief winter holiday hiatus, developer 343 Industries has now released the latest chapter in the series, in the form of Episode 6 called Scattered.

The new iteration continues the story of fireteam Majestic as it's trying to battle for control of Requiem.

The new episode can be downloaded for free, via Xbox Live, by selecting the Spartan Ops mode in the Infinity section of Halo 4's menu.

New episodes will be released every week until the final episode 10. Until then, check out a trailer for the latest chapter above.
