Grand Theft Auto 5 has just received its latest patch, in the form of title update 1.12, which brings a series of fixes for a wide array of exploits that were used by some players to wreak havoc in the GTA Online multiplayer mode.

Rockstar Games launched GTA 5 last September, and a lot of different content was added to its multiplayer mode since then via many updates and patches.

Now, the studio has just rolled out a fresh major update for GTA V across the PS3 and Xbox 360 platforms, promising to add not just a few new features and rewards, but also fixes for plenty of different issues and exploits used by nefarious people.

First up, players who want to be ignored by the police for a short while can call Lester and he will convince his cop buddies to turn a blind eye to any crimes for a small period of time.

Players who are able to complete Parachute, Races, Deathmatches, or LTS jobs with less than four players will be awarded with more cash for their effort.

Speaking of more rewards, players who like or dislike content will get 50 RP for their contribution to curating the community content.

Moving on to different bugs, Rockstar has confirmed that an issue with players who upgraded their Personal Vehicles prior to update 1.10 has been eliminated, meaning they can sell the items for more than GTA$10,000. Players will also be able to recover their Personal Vehicles from the impound lot after getting them destroyed.

Another problem relating to the Valentine's Gusenberg Sweeper has been eliminated, and the item will appear in the inventory of all players who purchased it during the special Valentine's Massacre event.

Quite a few exploits have been eliminated by patch 1.12 for GTA 5, starting with a problem that allowed players to use the Content Creator tool while in Free Roam, meaning they were able to spawn vehicles or objects inside the online world.

Another exploit, which allowed players to use weapons within their apartment or garage to kill others, has also been resolved.

One more issue, which allowed players to turn themselves and their car invisible, has also been fixed, so you no longer have to worry about unseen assailants.

Quite a lot of other, smaller tweaks are included in GTA 5 title update 1.12 so check out the official changelog on the Rockstar website.
