14 DAY TRIAL // Driveclub has just received update 1.10 and developer Evolution confirms that the 3.33GB patch includes the five free Japanese tracks, not to mention a wide variety of other gameplay improvements when it comes to the AI, the Photo mode, and other such things.
Driveclub launched back in October and has since received a variety of updates mostly because its multiplayer mode was deemed unplayable on release day due to faulty mechanics and unresponsive servers.
Fortunately, developer Evolution managed to rectify things and now more and more new content is coming to the popular PS4 racing game.
Update 1.10 is now live and brings many goodies
Now, the latest patch, which takes the game to version 1.10, is now available for download, according to the official Facebook. It clocks in at 3.33GB and includes quite a lot of great things for Driveclub owners to enjoy.
The most important addition is the Japanese DLC that brings five impressive tracks with 11 variants in total. You can enjoy them online but also as part of a new mode called multiplayer time trial.
A lot of actual gameplay improvements are also included in the new update, starting with changes to AI drafting behavior, as the cars won't stick so close to each other in order to prevent overtaking from human players. Those who tend to hit things should also notice that impacts will no longer cause that big of a speed loss.
Many other changes, among which improvements to the photo mode to produce better results, are also included.
Of course, upcoming expansions are also supported via this free update, starting with the Icona Vulcano or the Apex Expansion Pack, which includes new cars as well as new events and trophies. A premium Sakura Tour pack is also coming as a premium download later in the month.
