The Dishonored: Knife of Dunwall DLC is now available for download on the PC platform, via Steam, and will soon be released for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 later today, April 16.

Dishonored came out last year and impressed plenty of stealth game fans, managing to deliver a great experience that combined regular stealth mechanics and gameplay with supernatural abilities that gave protagonist Corvo an edge over his opponents.

Now, after receiving the Dunwall City Trials downloadable add-on late last year, the first story-based expansion for the game has appeared, in the form of the Knife of Dunwall DLC.

The add-on can now be downloaded for the PC platform, via Steam, and is set to appear later today, April 16, for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 platform.

In case you forgot, the new DLC puts players in the shoes of Daud, the legendary assassin who kills the Empress right at the beginning of the game, and brings not just new adventures but also fresh weapons, gadgets, allies, and supernatural abilities.

Check out the add-on's description via Steam below.

"After assassinating the Empress, and forever changing the fate of Dunwall, you embark on a search for redemption. The Outsider reveals the key to your atonement, but who—or what—is Delilah? Accompanied by the Whalers, your loyal band of mercenary assassins, your search will take you through never-before-seen districts of Dunwall as you face off against new and terrible foes."

"Employ a unique arsenal that enhances Dishonored’s dynamic combat, mobility and stealth systems. In the struggle to hang onto the last shred of your humanity, the choices you make will ultimately determine your fate."

The Knife of Dunwall DLC for Dishonored is now available for purchase on the PC platform via Steam, and will come out for the PS3 and Xbox 360, via PSN and Xbox Live, later today. It costs $9.99/€9.99/800 MS Points.
