A brand new update for Destiny has just been released by developer Bungie, in the form of patch 1.0.1.4, which reduces the difficulty of certain missions, while fixing glitches that affected popular experiences like the Vault of Glass raid.

Destiny launched at the beginning of the month, and since then, millions of players have ventured into the online-only first-person shooter experience, in a quest to become a powerful Guardian that saves the last city on Earth.

Of course, like with any multiplayer game, some problems have been found, but Bungie is acting quickly and has already rolled out quite a few different patches.

The latest update, which takes the game up to version 1.0.1.4, has now been released, via the official website, and is available for download across all platforms, i.e. PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, and Xbox One.

The patch reduces the difficulty of certain missions, including Shrine of Oryx, Sword of Crota, and Exclusion Zone, by removing the major enemies when in the Heroic tier of difficulty.

Raids overall have also been improved, as dropping the relic at the end of a mission will no longer result in a team wipe. This should prevent players from getting stuck at a black screen after completing a raid. Such a glitch affected the popular Vault of Glass raid, so it's great that Bungie acted so swiftly.
