Borderlands 2 owners on the Xbox 360 platform can now download the Psycho Bandit Krieg DLC for their platform, while PC and PS3 owners need to wait a little longer before getting their hands on the sixth playable character.

Borderlands 2 initially had just four heroes but a fifth one was added soon after its release, in the form of Gaige the Mechromancer.

Now, developer Gearbox Software has released the sixth playable character, in the form of Krieg the Psycho Bandit.

The new vault hunter has a melee-oriented fighting style, as his action skill involves going on a buzz axe rampage.

His different skilltrees also include lots of outlandish abilities that will require time and experience for players to master.

The Psycho Bandit DLC for Borderlands 2 is now available for download for the Xbox 360 edition of the game via Xbox Live. PC and PS3 users will receive the add-on later today, May 14, via Steam and PSN, respectively.

The DLC costs $9.99/€9.99/800 MS Points and isn't included in the Season Pass DLC bundle.
