The timed exclusivity deal for Battlefield 3’s Back to Karkand DLC has expired so PC and Xbox 360 owners can finally enjoy the downloadable expansion after PlayStation 3 users got it last week.

Battlefield 3 amazed lots of first person shooter fans back in October so DICE, its developer, wants to keep players interested in it by releasing a fresh batch of downloadable content, in the form of the Back to Karkand add-on.

Included in the DLC are four remastered maps from Battlefield 2, including Strike at Karkand, Sharqi Peninsula, Gulf of Oman, and Wake Island, not to mention new weapons, vehicles and achievements that can be unlocked.

In honor of its release on the PC and Xbox 360, DICE also posted a fresh trailer with gameplay from the Sharqi Peninsula map, which you can enjoy above.

Battlefield 3’s Back to Karkand add-on is available for free to those who got the Limited Edition of the game, while customers who got the regular one need to pay either $14.99/€14.99 on Electronic Arts’ Origin online store for the PC, or 1200 MS Points on the Xbox Live Marketplace.
