After confirming last week that Assassin's Creed 4: Black Flag runs on PS4 and Xbox One at a native 900p (1600x900) resolution, Ubisoft has now deployed the special Title Update 2 for the impressive game on the PS4 that enables the native 1080p (1920x1080) full HD resolution, while adding a new anti-aliasing mechanic.

Black Flag impressed PS3 and Xbox 360 owners last month, and now Ubisoft is rolling it out for the PS4, Xbox One, PC, and Wii U.

On the PS4 next-gen console, Ubisoft promised that a second patch would be released soon to ensure that the game runs at the intended native 1080p resolution.

Said update is now available for download, according to the official Twitter account.

After downloading it, PS4 owners will take advantage of the new native resolution for Assassin's Creed 4: Black Flag as well as of a new anti-aliasing mechanic that should reduce the jagged edges of certain objects.

The new update will also hit the Xbox One later this week, but it only brings the improved anti-aliasing, meaning the game's resolution will remain at 900p.
