Unranked matches now count towards getting new levels

Anomaly 2 has just received a small hotfix update from developer 11 Bit Studios that makes it easier for players to unlock new multiplayer maps not just by playing ranked matches, but also unranked ones.

Anomaly 2 was released earlier this week, and one of its major features was the all-new multiplayer mode that allowed players to engage in either ranked or unranked matches.

The online mode didn't give players the chance to access all of its maps from the get-go, as they needed to play multiple matches in order to unlock them all.

Sadly, only ranked matches mattered, but thanks to a new hotfix patch, 11 Bit Studios now allows unranked matches to also count when unlocking multiplayer maps.

The update is already available for download via the Steam digital distribution service for PC, Mac, and Linux.
