Finnish mobile phone maker Nokia has just released a new iteration of their popular desktop application, the Nokia Ovi Suite, now available for download as version 3.0.0.289 beta. The new flavor of the software was made available for download via the Nokia Beta Labs, and follows less than a month since the last version of Nokia Ovi Suite 3.0 arrived.

“New Nokia Ovi Suite 3.0.0.289 update is now available for download . This new version comes with simplified ovi.com contacts synchronization and critical fixes to device connectivity in Nokia Ovi Suite,” the new release is described on the Nokia Beta Labs.

The enhancements that the new application release comes with should offer a better experience to all those who use it to connect their mobile phones to their desktop computers.

According to the development team behind the application, the official release of this version is expected to become available for download sometime next week, provided that no major issue is discovered in the current version.

- Syncing contacts is now easier directly between your device and ovi.com. Manage your contacts online and sync them back whenever you need. From Nokia Ovi Suite, ovi.com contacts sync has been removed - Corrections to certain crash situations during calendar and task synchronization with Outlook - Corrections to certain crash situations with contacts sync with Outlook - Fixed error in first synchronization after updating Nokia Ovi Suite - Corrections to device connectivity in first time user experience, first connectivity to device is now more reliable
