Nokia phone users have now yet another appealing solution available for them, straight from the Nokia beta Labs, in the form of a beta flavor of Nokia Messaging for social networks with support for Twitter. The solution was launched for the first time in September, with support for Facebook, and now the developing team released a new version, one that should make Twitters rejoice.

Originally, Nokia Messaging for social networks offered Nopkia phone users the possibility to stay in touch with friends straight from their handsets. Among the features of the app, we can count the possibility to view, post or comment on messages, as well as to share location and status. Moreover, the new release includes some new capabilities, such as the possibility to upload pictures and videos, to view upcoming events, birthdays and import to device calendar, search friends, or click-to-call / click-to-SMS / click-to-FB Email.

The entire features list of the Nokia Messaging for social networks solutions includes: - Contextual homescreen widget – jump directly to your Facebook and Twitter posts and tweets to comment. - Live Facebook and Twitter updates pushed to your phone homescreen - Update your status on Twitter - View / reply to your Tweets - Communication choices – multiple ways to interact with your friends and social network circles straight from the client (e.g. post a comment, call, SMS, or email) - Share your current location and your points of interest in a post or in a message leveraging device GPS location and Ovi Maps (e.g. view friends’ location, add your location) - Multi pictures uploads - Video uploads - Search - Full profile support - Save Facebook invites to phone calendar - Events: View upcoming events, birthdays

For the time being, those who would like to try the solution can do so only on a Nokia N97, Nokia N97 Mini, or Nokia 5800 mobile phone, but more devices are expected to see support for the application in the near future. Those who would like to learn a few more details on the solution can do so by watching the video provided by Nokia Beta Labs.
