“The simplest way to capture your every move, and motivate you to move more”

Nike Inc. has released its new Move application for iDevice owners, touting it as “the simplest way to capture your every move, and motivate you to move more.”

Nike+ Move is a fitness app tailored exclusively for the M7 coprocessor found inside the A7 chip. While the latest iPads also use this chip, Nike’s app only works with the iPhone 5s (mainly because of its portability).

The software converts the data it gathers from your movement into NikeFuel units, “the first-ever single, universal unit for measuring all kinds of activities,” according to the company.

“No matter your age, weight or gender, the same activity earns you the same amount of NikeFuel,” Nike adds.

You can actually see how you moved at a particular time and compare the data with your friends’ movements. It motivates you by enticing you to beat your NikeFuel average, see when you are most active throughout the day (with a comparison to how you did the day before), move more often to win more NikeFuel, etc.

Game Center integration allows you to see how you stack up against your friends or other Nike+ Move users. Download Nike+ Move for your iPhone 5s and get those legs moving today.
