Berbie has launched TrailRunner 2.0 Build 384, delivering the usual laundry of bug fixes and enhancements. Noteworthy additions include the ability to add a workout manually with options for including more than one workout per day, and an updated Japanese localization.

According to Berbie, bug fixes included with TrailRunner 2.0 Build 384 include:

– While being in the week tab of the diary window selecting any option out of the drop-down-menu for filtering past workouts (e.g. past ten weeks only) resulted in automatic switching to the workout tab of the diary window. (sumsa)
– Route duration calculation was broken. (monika)
– Fixed a problem when moving through the elevation graph with the arrow keys. (sumsa)
– Better: Fixed a problem with keyhole images not loading. (bjrnfrdnnd)
– Fixed a problem with the average speed import from Garmin Training Center. (jeroen)
– Fixed an incorrect TotalTimeSeconds value for the TCX Route Export. (ingo)
– Fixed a selection and compression preview issue in the route export. (ingo)

TrailRunner can calculate a route for the desired distance, and export directions onto the users' iPod. This way, users get detailed orientation, while keeping the workout going. In recent releases, the company has introduced the ability to display collected workout data within the program, matching the recordings with routes created by users. TrailRunner integrates with nikeplus.com, the online community for the Nike SportBand, and the Apple Nike+ iPod Sport Kit-running devices.

Since TrailRunner is still in the pre-release state, all current releases of TrailRunner will run for about three months. Berbie urges users to regularly update to the most current version, as well as review and accept the License Agreement that comes with the application, before using it. TrailRunner versions above 1.6 (including the one available for download today) require Mac OS X 10.5 Leopard to run. The only remaining version supported on Tiger is TrailRunner 1.6. Both supported versions are available using the download link below.
